Currently on my spring break and it's definitely the FIRST time I've ever worked out more than drink a shit ton of alcohol. Well, I don't drink much alcohol anymore to begin with, but that's not the point. I have enjoyed a few Magic Hats on my week off at the lake though =D
My little family and I thought it'd be great to spend time with my parents at the new lake house. It is beautiful and the sunrise is breath taking. Very blessed to have witness such a sight (although I had my eyes open for few short minutes before returning to sleep). Our daughter loved the boat rides and the new adventures of crawling around a new house. Jack, our dog, seems to love it there as well! What dog wouldn't rather be at an open lake house with large yard than a apartment with NO yard.
Even with us on vacation I was still able to get my workouts in! THANK GOD. My parents have a "mini"gym in the garage, and although I had to tweak my workouts it was a great time. My mom actually worked out with me! =D Jordan enjoyed his free time to watch Tiger Woods....he can't wait to get out on the golf course again when it begins to get warm. I don't blame him! I would hate to NOT go to the gym because of weather.
I am guilty of having a few of those Dark Chocolate Dove treats. They are the best because of the message inside =D always makes me smile. For sure my favorite chocolate. My dad cooked some great (and HEALTHY) food for us. Was able to get some tips and recipes to try on my own. I am now on my FOURTH week of the LiveFit Trainer and have seen awesome results so far. Now remember, they say it takes 4 weeks for yourself to see a difference, 8 weeks for your close family/friends, and 12 weeks for everyone else in the world. I'm excited to continue on this fabulous and life changing path!

Legs and Inspiration
Today was LONG (worked majority of day) and when I came home I was so close to not work out. BUT it has been a 3-day rest period and time to get my booty back into gym mode. Today marks the first day of the third week. The focus was LEGS LEGS LEGS. By the time I was leaving they felt like jello and I'm pretty sure I walked with a little "bounce" in my step.
When I got of work I was very happy to hear that my fiance was going to the gym with his friend. I mention from time to time when he complains he's bored that he should go to the gym, but that never happens. I would never push one of my passions on someone else if they did not want to. But today was A PROUD DAY. =D Maybe he'll make it a weekly thing? One of my goals is to secretly motivate him to go by seeing my results and my loyalty to "gym time". SHHH IT'S A SECRET. But he's a guy and has a crazy metabolism...so even if not he'll still look good. =D
This past weekend was Arnold Sports Festival. And I am kicking myself for not going, BUT NEXT YEAR will be my year. My main reason of wanting to go was to meet Jamie Eason my fitness inspiration. I first saw her on a cover of Oxygen magazine and ended up "liking" her on FaceBook. From there I went to bodybuilding.com and that's where I found her program. She seems like an amazing person and loves sharing her love for fitness and health. Plus her body is rockin'!

BACK ON TRACK!
I have not written due to issues with this blog set up. It wouldn't let me post photos and I hate writing a blog with NO PHOTOS. I mean this is my fitness journey, I have to visually see my journey! But now that it's fixed I'm happy to say I'm devoted to blogging daily =D
Last April (2012) I had begun the LiveFit Trainer by Jamie Eason from bodybuilding.com. I completed only 2 weeks of it. I know pathetic and sad. My reasons were: still adapting to being a new mom, school, poor time management, lazy, and I clearly did not want to work hard at that time in my life. So NOW I have returned to the LiveFit Trainer program and about to start Week 3. =D My eating has been clean 95% of the time and I make the time to workout. She does provide a "meal plan" to go along with the program but it is aimed for competitions so therefore I don't follow it to a T. But I do try to eat 5-6 times a day and drink a lot of water. The drinking water part is easy for me because that is ALL I drink in the first place, unless I'm craving a good Sprite.
This photo is two weeks apart. I can definitely see changes in my body and very excited to see what the future will bring. Clean eating alone does WONDERS to anyone's body. If you are not the type to workout, begin to eat clean and you'll feel better overall.
